Privacy Policy

Shopping on mackenziechildsca.shop means we handle a small amount of personal information so a handmade plate, a painted stool, or a seasonal gift can leave the workshop and reach the address you typed. This page describes those practices in ordinary language. It is not a numbered code and it does not use decorative marks. If the wording here later changes, the live page is the one that applies.

At checkout we collect the name, street address, email, and phone you enter so the parcel can be packed, labelled, and discussed if a carrier asks a question. A newsletter signup is stored only so we can send notes about new tableware, furniture, and household objects. We do not sell that mailing list. You may leave the list at any time by writing to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com or by using the leave-list link in a message if one is present.

Card numbers are taken by the checkout processor. We do not keep full card numbers on this shop. A processor may hold billing data under its own notice so a payment can be completed, refunded, or reviewed for fraud. If a charge looks unfamiliar, contact the card issuer and also write to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com with the order number so we can look at our record.

When you browse, the server may log an internet address, browser type, pages opened, products viewed, and cart events. Small files on your device can remember a bag of items and keep a session stable. Restricting those files can make checkout harder. We use that technical trail to keep the site working, to see which collections people actually open, and to notice unusual traffic that might harm other shoppers.

We use what you give us to acknowledge an order, confirm when it leaves, answer a question about a glaze or a finish, process a return, and, where you have asked for notes, tell you about new pieces. We may combine an online order with a later message so staff are not guessing which enamel bowl you mean. We do not use your number for a marketing text unless you have asked for that kind of note.

Trusted helpers see data only to do a job: payment firms, parcel carriers, email platforms, hosting, and similar tools. They should not keep a copy for their own catalogues. We may share a record if a law, a court paper, or a good-faith safety need requires it, or if the shop is transferred and the buyer needs the order history to keep shipping what you already paid for. Marketing partners are not given the newsletter list for rental.

You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct a misspelled name or a stale address, ask us to stop using a contact for product notes, or ask us to delete eligible records. Some invoices and shipping papers stay because tax and parcel rules say they must. Identity checks protect other customers from fake requests. Privacy notes can go to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com or 800 327 8586. Letters may be sent to 3260 State Route 90, Aurora, NY 13026.

The shop is not aimed at children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect information about them. If you believe a child has sent us details, write immediately so we can remove what we can. Links to other websites follow those sites’ own notices. We use ordinary safeguards such as encrypted checkout pages. No internet path is perfect, so keep a password private and close a shared browser when you finish.

People in some regions have extra choices about access, correction, erasure, and certain advertising uses. We will explain which of those choices we can honour for a given request. If we rely on consent for a mailing, you may withdraw it; that does not unwind an order already placed. We keep information while it is needed to finish the purpose we collected it for, including accounting, unless a longer period is required.

If this notice is revised, the new text appears on this page. Continued use of the shop after a change means you are working with the updated wording. Questions about privacy, a newsletter, or a stored address should go to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com, 800 327 8586, or 3260 State Route 90, Aurora, NY 13026. Please read the live paragraphs before relying on a printed or saved copy.
